We're going to talk about the citybeaches, like " Il Lido " and " Maria Pia ", or the bathhouse immediately under the city walls. Our list also includes the more northerly beaches, like " Le Bombarde ", " Lazzaretto ", " Mugoni " and " Porto Ferro ", where the water is a bit fresher but there's also an unspeakable beautiful nature.
Alghero dream beaches on the striking northwest coast
Arrival is through a pine forest 2 minutes walk from the main road, where there is car park for about 5 euros a day. it is possible to arrive from Alghero by bus or on foot, about 1/2 hour walk. it is possible to rent parasols in some parts of the beach but useful to bring your own. A rest in the pine forest at lunch time is superb.
